OH what a mess we had with our HP copier on Friday. Some how monofilament thread made it's way from the third drawer up and into the copy area of the printer. Much searching finally got it out!

It's been snowing at the Winston Shop this weekend! Look at the beautiful snowball blocks that were inspired by the Tammy Kelly Trunk Show this month. Job well done girls!

This has been a crazy week. Lots going on.

Tuesday customers came by and watched a presentation via internet on the NEW MY Label software in the morning. There was Machine Quilting for the Beginner after lunch and the evening closed out with the Around the Block Club.

First thing Wednesday morning 6 customers greeted us at the door ready to tackle mastering their BSR with BSR Basic.

Thursday was WET!

Friday you will find members of the 2007 $5 Quilt group getting setting information at 10 and 2.

Tammy Kelly Trunk Show

We have a beautiful trunk show in our Winston shop by Tammy Kelly with Common Threads in Flagstaff, AZ. (http://www.ourcommonthreads.com/) The picture to the right is named "It Talked to Me" If you would like to make your own "It talked to Me" come by the shop and sign up for Judi's class on Saturday, October 27th, 10 - 4.





This pretty pink wall hanging is called "Pink Lemonade". Visit the shop and see the other quilts in the trunk show. They are beautifully quilted, the pictures here do not do them justice!

Mary Ellen & Muriel are again BRAIN DEAD! So much has been thrown at us, we don't know which end is up!
BUT, by the time we see you in the store, we will have (hopefully) gotten it sorted out. We are looking forward getting back to NC to share with you!

Here we are in Aurora, Illinois at Bernina USA in intensive training in software to learn the newest to bring home to everyone. My Label is on our doorstep, but meanwhile we have fun appliques, cross stitch, digitizing and new ideas and techniques to share! We have new ideas for the Hoop-It-All, monograms, quilt labels and demos to show! We've been well fed to keep our energy up to absorb lots of info. Can't wait to share it with you all!
We'll be home late Friday and we'll see you in the shop next week with all the ideas!
